The Prajwal Devaraj starrer Mafia is currently in the works but the film certainly has the public curiosity piqued. The project may have begun on slightly shaky ground with regard to the change in creative control when director Lohith took over the reins from Gurudatha Ganiga. However, it would seem that the Mummy and Devaki director has lent his unique perspective to the film as the film gradually takes an exciting shape.

The Dynamic Prince celebrates his birthday today and on this special occasion, the team of Mafia has released a new look from the film. The latest poster not only allows the audience another peek into the world of the film but also unveils the dark and bloodied side to it.
In the same vein, the latest reports reveal that Mafia is currently in the final schedule of production and that Prajwal and Co. are engrossed in executing intense action sequences. Reportedly, the makers have roped in popular fight master Real Satish of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa fame who is joined by the veteran stunt choreographer Jolly Bastin for these specific portions. Following this, the team is likely to carry out a song shoot and complete the production phase by the end of July.
Mafia features J. Anoop Seelin’s soundtrack. The cast also includes Aditi Prabhudeva as an investigative journalist, Shine Shetty as Prajwal Devaraj’s cop friend, along with Sadhu Kokila, Vijay Chendoor, and others. Veteran actor Devaraj, who also happens to be Prajwal’s real-life father, will be seen playing a small but key role in the film. Kumar B. serves as the film’s producer.
Alongside, Prajwal Devaraj has films like Veeram and Abbara up for release, and multiple projects in the works.
