Unlike the last couple of years gone by, where almost every festival had come to a grinding halt because of the pandemic, this year, Diwali celebrations are in full swing, just as everyone would want them to be! Now that Diwali is here, how can Bollywood and Bollywood celebrities be far behind? Karan Johar, who has always been a trend-setter of sorts, is already in a celebratory mood! This was very evident from his social media posts. What was remarkable about the post was that Karan Johar was not alone in wishing everyone a happy Diwali.
Accompanying Karan Johar in wishing everyone a happy Diwali were his two kids, Yash and Roohi. Karan Johar took to social media and posted a ‘stop motion’ (a special kind of animation) video that featured him and his two kids. The USP of this video post was that papa Karan Johar and children Yash and Roohi were all wearing matching outfits in white and golden colours. Karan Johar looked elegant and classic (as he would have liked to describe himself) in the white kurta with a golden border.
Karan Johar’s daughter, Roohi Johar, looked super cute in the Diwali dress with the same colour combination as Karan Johar. On the other hand, Karan’s son, Yash Johar, looked extremely cute and adorable in his Diwali dress. Karan Johar even captioned the post, stating, “Mere do Anmol Ratan…. Happy Diwali to you and yours!!!! Love and light for life”.
In no time, Karan Johar’s post was filled with comments and compliments from many. Prominent amongst them were those of ace designer Manish Malhotra, who posted red heart-shaped emojis as his way to express his love and emotions, and singer Kanika Kapoor, who also posted a smiley emoji. On the professional front, Karan Johar is all busy gearing up for Mr And Mrs Mahi, his next film as a producer. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor and has been scheduled to be released on April 19, 2024.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar is going super strong as the host of his show 'Koffee With Karan', which is doing really well in its ongoing season.
