​#HappyNewYear2023: Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth to Vikram: Kollywood ushers in New Year in style

​​It's a brand New Year and the entire world is in a festive mood. Namma Kollywood celebrities, too, are ringing in the occasion with gusto and they took to their social media handles to wish everyone a Happy New Year. While Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan had a word of advice for everyone, Karthi thanked everyone for supporting him and his films in the year gone by.

Superstar Rajinikanth wrote on his social media handle, "Wishing everyone a Happy New Year… #Your_life_is_in_your_hands (sic)."

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan dropped a note in Tamil that translates to, "One year has passed. Something new is waiting to enter through the door of hope. Let the plans form. Let them be motivated to act. New Year is an occasion to embrace hope. My greetings to all. #NewYear2023 (sic)."

Chiyaan Vikram, too, sent his wishes across in Tamil. "The year may change. Life can change. Relationships can change. Hearts can change.. My best wishes for the hearts and homes of my loved ones who never change.Let's make the pursuit of happiness the greatest goal of this year! Happy 2023!! (sic)."

SJ Suryah wrote, "Happy NewYear to all my brothers sisters & friends have a great year very happy shooting on new year day inside forest for Jigarthanda double xx (sic)."

Karthi, who has had three hatricks in the year 2022, with Viruman, Ponniyin Selvan and Sardar, thanked everyone for supporting him during the journey. "Have a fabulous New Year ahead dear Friends! Lots of love and best wishes to you all! Thanks for all the love! #HappyNewYear2023 (sic)." He also left a lengthy heartfelt note.

Director Venkat Prabhu wrote, "Let all the happiness, good health and success be in your #CUSTODY always! Happy new years!!! God bless!! #HappyNewYear2023 (sic)."
