Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Bobby Deol joins Pawan Kalyan’s historic saga, to play Aurangzeb

The shoot of Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu has gained steam in the recent months. The film, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, revolving around the story of an outlaw in the 17th century Mughal era, is expected to release in the first half of 2023. Presented by AM Rathnam and produced by A Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Production, the actioner features Nidhii Agerwal as the female lead besides Arjun Rampal, Nargis Fakhri, Sunil, Hyper Aadhi. The multilingual now has yet an impressive addition.

Hindi actor Bobby Deol has joined the shoot of Hari Hara Veera Mallu earlier this week. The much experienced actor has been cast in the role of Mughal emperor Auragzeb in the film. A massive darbar set has been erected at Annapurna Studios for his sequences. He and Pawan Kalyan have begun shooting for their combination sequences from Friday. Hari Hara Veera Mallu marks Bobby Deol’s Telugu debut. Sporting a stylish stubble, in a video, producer AM Rathnam is seen welcoming him to the sets.

A 40-day long schedule of Hari Hara Veera Mallu was wrapped up at Ramoji Film City recently where crucial action sequences were filmed with the lead actors. A pre-schedule workshop to prep the actors for the segment was also hosted earlier this year. The glimpse unveiled a few weeks ago has contributed to the buzz around the film. The film will simultaneously release in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

With music by MM Keeravaani, the film has cinematography by VS Gnanashekar. Pawan Kalyan has committed to three other films as well - a project each with directors Harish Shankar, Sujeeth and Samuthirakani. His film with Samuthirakani is the remake of the Tamil drama Vinodhaya Sitham, available to watch on ZEE5. The star’s only release this year, Bheemla Nayak, emerged a success at the box office.
