Hari Hara Veera Mallu was one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema, having been in the making for the last five years. The Pawan Kalyan-starrer finally hit the screens on July 24, 2025, in a record number of theaters. From day one, the film received mixed reviews, though Pawan Kalyan’s performance and the overall execution were praised.

However, the VFX, especially in the climax, was heavily trolled, becoming a major drawback and drawing criticism from many. As reported earlier by OTT Play, the film recorded a massive opening, grossing close to ₹40 crore on day one, the highest ever for a Pawan Kalyan film.
Unfortunately, the momentum didn’t sustain, and the film saw a drastic dip on day two, failing to hold strong numbers. Thanks to Nidhhi Agerwal’s last-minute promotions, day three saw a decent recovery, with the film earning ₹10 crore worldwide across all languages.
With this, the total net collection has crossed ₹65 crore, which is not considered impressive for a film of this scale. Clearly, the film has stumbled at the box office, primarily due to the negative word of mouth. While day three showed improvement over day two, and day four is expected to be decent as well, trade experts are cautious.

Once the weekdays begin, it remains to be seen how well the film holds up, especially with Vijay Deverakonda’s big-budget film Kingdom releasing on July 31, 2025. That film is also being promoted aggressively and is expected to impact Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s performance further.
Amazon Prime Video has bagged the digital rights and is expected to stream the film in the last week of August 2025. For now, the film has slowed down significantly, and it remains to be seen how much it can earn in the coming days. Stay tuned for more updates.
