Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Pawan Kalyan's film faces multiple delays despite locking release date

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is one of the most awaited films of Pawan Kalyan and has been in the making for the last five years, mainly due to Pawan Kalyan's political commitments. The film has completed its shoot and is all set to hit the screens on June 12, 2025.

With less than two weeks to go, the trailer is yet to be released, which has upset fans in a big way. The film is facing delays yet again, and we have all the details for you. A source close to the unit has revealed that the VFX work related to the trailer is yet to be completed, which is the reason for the delay.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a period drama in which the Badri and Balu actor, Pawan Kalyan, plays a freedom fighter. A lot of VFX work is involved in recreating the bygone era, which is why post-production is taking longer than expected.

Krish of Vedham fame initially directed the film, but as Hari Hara Veera Mallu faced multiple delays, he backed out of the project. The producer AM Rathnam's son, Jyothi Krishna, stepped in and completed the film.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu a two part film?

Not many know that Hari Hara Veera Mallu was originally planned as a two-part film, but reports now suggest the makers are reconsidering that idea. Their current focus is on wrapping up the VFX work and releasing the film on time.

Also, the theatrical business of the film is yet to be finalized, as the makers are quoting hefty prices that distributors are hesitant to pay. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights for a hefty sum and will stream the film in the second week of July.
