Hariprriya sparks pregnancy rumours after post about new beginnings

Kannada actress Hariprriya has been on a self-imposed break from films for a while now, ever since she and Vasishta N Simha decided to take their relationship to the next level. The actress, who was last seen in Petromax (Kannada) and Naan Mirugamaai Maara (Tamil), had completed her commitment on Thayi Kastur Gandhi and Yada Yadahi before taking time off to prepare for her wedding.

Well, it looks like the actress is set to begin something new in her life, which could be something film related after all, given that Vasishta has a music label, but her latest social media post with hashtags new beginnings, coming soon, can’t wait, new arrivals, etc., has fans speculating ‘good news’. Hariprriya’s post in which she wanted fans to guess what she could probably be set to announce, was accompanied with an image of what appears to be a screenshot of the notifications on a phone, one of which reads ‘Good news??’ and another, ‘Hesarenu madam??’

Most of the responses to her post had fans congratulating her on what they assume will be a pregnancy announcement, with many even trolling her since she’s been married for less than two months only. Comments included different versions of, “Mari Simha or Simhini entry”, “Ist begana 😍😍!? Innu 2 tinglu kooda agilla madve aagi”, while some responded asking if she was beginning a new film and if it was going to be with Vasishta. Some even wondered if she was going to start her own YouTube channel and produce content featuring her, just like what Meghana Raj Sarja has been doing off late.

Hariprriya was earlier committed to a film called Lagaam with Upendra, which has been on hold after its first schedule, as the latter was busy winding up Kabzaa and working on his own directorial, UI. There is no word on whether Lagaam will get made after all. Bell Bottom 2 also looks unlikely, now that Rishab Shetty is focusing on the prequel to Kantara.
