Harleen Sethi is an actress who has explored a career in films but is best remembered for her stint on the web series Broken But Beautiful. The actress has seen both sides of the coin and thus, she feels that even when things go back to normal, people will still consume OTT as well as cinema.

Talking to OTTplay exclusively while shooting for her upcoming Voot series The Gone Game 2, Harleen shared that theatres and OTT will coexist, no matter what. “I don’t think OTT will get affected. Both will have their place,” she said.

The actress shared that commercial films will remain for the big screen because they are essentially made for that. “Bigger films like Sooryavanshi or 83 will have a different audience because of the culture of watching it on the big screen. They are family entertainers,” she said.

Talking about OTTs, Harleen said, “OTT, on the other hand, is very personal. You can watch what you like, when you like and how you like it. You can even pause something you don’t like or want to revisit later sometime.”

Elaborating on the same, she felt, “If you stay alone, especially in a city like Mumbai, it could get a little lonely for some people. However, you’re never alone these days because of OTT. There’s so much to watch and do in life. There’s so much content out there. Something releases every single day and there is content for everybody.”
