With the Netflix show Scoop, Harman Baweja returns as an actor to the entertainment industry. Hansal Mehta's series features prominent roles for Karishma Tanna and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Harman completely transforms into the story's crucial police officer, Shroff, in Scoop. The Netflix series is the actor's first long-form show since he returned after a long absence.

In an interview with India Today, Harman explained that there was no one thing that had kept him away from the entertainment industry for so long. The post-launch criticism, however, did not sit well with him. He doesn't think it had anything to do with the script, mainly. In his case, the actor shot a couple films in advance. After that, a rather powerful wave arrived, which was not exactly what was expected. It's acceptable to voice concerns and objections.

Harman has the right to voice his criticisms. He has the right to express his opinion, whether positive or negative, on any content he has paid to view. It stops there for him. However, it remains persistent when it begins to affect one personally. It was a heavy assault. The question of whether one needs this for their mental health becomes pressing.

Harman elaborated that he loves what he does but acknowledges that he loves himself more than to expose himself to that kind of blowback, which he never understood and neither does he want to, because he has moved on. For him, this is a great relief. The actor doesn't think about the future at all. He is relieved and satisfied that he has completed this step. Other than this, he can't think of a reason why.

When photos of Harman's bodily transformation went viral, he also received criticism. But it doesn't disturb him at all.

The premiere of Scoop on Netflix is set for June 2, 2023.
