Harrdy Sandhu was detained by Chandigarh Police, according to a report on News18. This happened in Sector 34, where he not only attended a fashion show but also performed without permission. The attendees were taken by surprise and they raised concerns about management protocol. Thus, Sandhu consequently got detained in the middle of his reportedly unscheduled performance at the fashion show.

Various videos have been doing rounds on social media since the incident. According to those videos, the media gathered to get a statement from Harrdy Sandhu, and while he did don a hoodie and his bodyguard tried to stop the coverage, the singer did not shy away from the cameras but instead gave a nod, almost as if confirming that he would talk at the right time. Unfortunately, the next thing he saw was him being taken to the police station in the police van.
