The progress suggests that this enthralling period drama series will captivate viewers with Gandhi's fascinating journey. The makers announced today the highly acclaimed international ensemble set to play key roles in the film.

Gandhi: A stellar ensemble cast revealed

A broad assortment of artists, each showcasing their own distinct talents, makes up the series' remarkable ensemble. Tom Felton, renowned for his legendary performance in the Harry Potter films, is at the head of the pack. Libby Mai, Molly Wright, Ralph Adeniyi, James Murray, Lindon Alexander, Jonno Davies, Simon Lennon, and a host of other A-listers round out the ensemble. The extraordinarily gifted Pratik Gandhi, starring as the legendary Gandhi himself, is the driving force behind this screen production.

The managing director of Applause Entertainment, Sameer Nair, expressed his excitement over the casting of an international ensemble that will contribute their individual brilliance to the epic story. Hansal Mehta's direction and the unparalleled Pratik Gandhi, who personifies Gandhi's soul, are poised to make the Indian series a huge splash on the international scene, he shared.

Hansal Mehta's perspective

Hansal Mehta commented that it has been an absolute honour to work with such a brilliant ensemble. As they get ready to bring their labour of love to audiences all around the world, the news that they have roped in some very remarkable international performers to join their ensemble has just added to the excitement. An untold but rich tale of a young man embarking on a journey of self-discovery, unaware of the influence he would have on history and their shared awareness, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi's story—especially his formative years in London and South Africa—is a story for the time. It is an honour to have the opportunity to bring this great story to life.

As for Tom Felton, he expressed his enthusiasm for becoming a part of the project to depict the tale of Gandhi's formative years in London. Collaborating with Hansal & Pratik is a privilege and a joy, as it pertains to a previously untold chapter of history.

The highly anticipated series Gandhi is now in production and promises an incredible journey through Indian history. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
