Revealing how he picks projects, Harsh said, "I’ve always chosen films that excite me. They don’t have to tick any stereotypical boxes, but have to stimulate me. I work on each one of my films with a single-mindedness and I can’t really imagine taking up something that’s not a passion project, as I’ve always been artistically driven and craft-focused."
The actor, who has also produced the film Thar - which starred some iconic actors, including his father Anil Kapoor, Satish Kaushik and Jitendra Joshi - said that exploring a different genre of cinema and producing at the same time was quite a hard task, that and the journey was not easy for him and the team. The film was extensively shot in some unexplored terrines of Rajasthan in extreme weather conditions.
Speaking about Thar, Harsh said, "Thar was a lot of hard work and perseverance. Also producing it and going through that journey from setting it up to its release and even post that has fulfilled me immensely."
Thar won several awards and Harsh also felt very happy to receive such recognition for his work.
Currently, Harsh is preparing for the biopic on Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra, for which he is spending time extensively with the athlete and his family in Chandigarh.
