Harshaali Malhotra on the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan: I am super duper excited

Last year, Salman Khan confirmed the sequel to his movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. According to the makers, the scripting for the second instalment of the comedy-drama movie will start this year in May. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Harshaali Malhotra, who played a lead role alongside Salman unveiled her desire to be a part of the upcoming flick.

Talking about the sequel, the child artist mentioned that she is super duper excited. She further said that now she is just waiting for Salman's call. "All I hope is Salman Uncle calls and says that we need to start preparing for the film, and I’ll immediately join him. Ever since the announcement has been made, many people have been tagging me on social media wanting to know more about the project," she added. She further told the news portal that she is waiting for the project to go on floors soon.

Harshaali, who played the character named Munni (Shahida) in the 2015 film also mentioned to the online portal that she can not believe that it was really her in the movie.

Meanwhile, Bajrangi Bhaijaan's screenwriter KV Vijayendra confirmed in one of his recent interviews with Pinkvilla that he will start writing the script of Pawan Putra Bhaijaan around May, and the story of the second part will take off from where it left in the first part. 

Kabir Khan's 2015 directorial also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kareena Kapoor Khan in major roles with Sharat Saxena, Alka Badola Kaushal, Meher Vijin key roles.
