Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa's Deewaniyat undergoes title change | Know the new name

During the Sanam Teri Kasam re-release earlier in 2025, Harshvardhan Rane announced his new film, Deewaniyat. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film is likely to be a soul-stirring musical love story, and he will star alongside Sonam Bajwa. However, a report mentioned that the movie has undergone a title change. Harshvardhan Rane's Deewaniyat gets new title

As per IANS, Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa's Deewaniyat got a new title, and it is Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Not only has the title changed, but the film now has a new team at the helm after it switched production houses. This change came after the film's transition from Vikir Films to Play DMF, Anshul Garg's rapidly rising production house. The creative leaders of the new team decided that the previous title no longer aligned with the project's evolving narrative and branding.

The report also mentioned that Deewane Ki Deewaniyat reflects a deeper emotional core and a more personalized love story, and is promoted as a story of madness, intensity, and romantic obsession. According to sources close to the team, the new title better captures the film's emotion-driven narrative and dramatic tone.

Harshvardhan Rane's work front

Rane was recently seen enjoying the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam, after which he announced. The actor is also working on a romantic-acting film, directed by Omung Kumar. The film also stars Karan Veer Mehra, Sadia Khateeb, and Ipsitaa.

It is a Zee Studios presentation, a Blue Lotus Pictures and Stark Entertainment production film in association with Innovations India. The film is produced by Omung Kumar, Umesh KR Bansal, Pragati Deshmukh, Himanshu Tiwari, Ajay Singh, Dhananjay Singh, Abhishek Ankur, and Captain Rahul Bali, and it is co-produced by Rahhat Shah Kazmi.

Sonam Bajwa's upcoming film

On the other hand, Sonam Bajwa, who predominantly works in Punjabi movies, has a few Hindi films up for release. She will be seen in Tarun Mansukhani's Housefull 5 with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Soundarya Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, Fardeen Khan and others. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie will hit theaters on June 6, 2025.

The actress also has Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4. Directed by A. Harsha, the action-thriller stars Sanjay Dutt and Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu. It will be released in cinemas on September 5, 2025.
