Pranav Mohanlal, son of superstar Mohanlal, has been reportedly roped into projects helmed by noted Malayalam directors. The actor was last seen in the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial Hridayam, alongside Darshana Rajendran and Kalyani Priyadarshan. Following the success of this romantic drama film, it was announced that Pranav, Nivin Pauly, Kalyani and Dhyan Sreenivasan would be teaming up for Vineeth’s next movie, Varshangalkku Shesham. It is said that the film recently completed its first first schedule of shooting. Speaking of the latest, Pranav has signed a couple of big projects with two popular Malayalam filmmakers.

Pranav Mohanlal set to work with two acclaimed directors

According to latest reports, it has been speculated that the Hridayam actor has signed projects with director Anwar Rasheed and Aashiq Abu. It is also rumoured that the official announcements will be made soon after Pranav completes shooting for Varshangalkku Shesham. This has created quite a buzz on social media, with fans lauding the actor for his successive commitments.

Vineeth Sreenivasan clears the air about the plot of Varshangalkku Shesham

Recently, there were speculations about the upcoming film’s plot, set in Chennai being based on the life of Vineeth’s father, actor Sreenivasan. Now, the director has cleared the air. Speaking to Behindwoods Channel, Vineeth said that his film will not be shot in Chennai and that it is not the story of Mohanlal, Mammootty and Sreenivasan. “Varshangalkku Shesham is not being shot in Chennai, but there will be certain Chennai references and connections. The movie is about a group of friends and has no connection with the real life of my father,” he elaborated. 

Varshangalkku Shesham to clash with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham?

According to reports, Varshangalkku Shesham is likely to clash with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham, as both the movies are expected to hit the cinemas during Vishu 2024. These movies are likely to be released on April 11, 2024.
