Have grown to love Ranveer Singh: Karan Johar gushes over Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor in heartfelt note

Ranveer Singh is definitely one of those actors who seems to have a magnetic quality about him which people can't help but love. The actor’s charm and charisma seem to be as apparent off screen as in his onscreen performances. Karan Johar, who directed Ranveer in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, seems to be the latest victim to the actor’s charm. The filmmaker recently penned a note of appreciation for Ranveer.

Taking to his official social media handles, Karan shared a photograph of Ranveer and spoke of his admiration of the latter. Karan started off by saying that there was no particular reason for penning the note, except to share his thoughts about Ranveer, whom he called a ‘ball of love’. The filmmaker spoke of the actor’s ability to make everyone around him feel special and how Ranveer exuded love and passion. Karan went on to speak of how beautifully the actor’s individualism translates on to screens, which the former was able to observe at length when directing Ranveer.

Check out Karan’s post below:

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani marks Karan’s first feature length directorial film after a gap of almost 6 years. The film will see Ranveer share the screen with his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt. In a recent conversation with Rajeev Masand, Karan had referred to Ranveer and Alia as the Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol of the present generation. The filmmaker had lauded Ranveer and Alia’s on screen chemistry, which he said stemmed from their good friendship.

In addition to Ranveer and Alia, the upcoming film also features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in prominent roles. Karan had recently announced the talkie wrap on the film, which is slated to hit theatres next year. Karan also produced the film under the banner of Dharma Productions.
