Parambrata Chatterjee and Pavel had a strained relationship since the film Sonar Pahar in 2018. The film was directed by Parambrata and written by Pavel, but the director allegedly did not give any credit to Pavel. This created tension between them, and they did not work together on any more projects. However, it seems that the rift is getting healed, and they are going to work together once again.

A few days back, the mahurat of the film Hawa Bodol 2 took place. Rudranil Ghosh, Parambrata, and Raima Sen reprise their roles from the 2013 film. Pavel has penned the story.

Pavel, in an interview with Anandabazar Online, said, “We fought over Sonar Pahar. But when the film was awarded the best story, Paramda (Parambrata) called me Bhai on the stage. That melted the ice.”

On Hawa Bodol 2, he said, “Paramda has been asking me to write the story for a long time. I will be the solo writer here. However, Param da helped me a lot in writing the story.”

Two of Pavel’s films might get released this year. One is Mon Kharap, another is Daktar Kaku. He is thinking of a big project next year. He is excited to work with Rudranil in Hawa Bodol 2.

Anusha Viswanathan, Chanchal Ghosh, and Kabir Bhattacharya will also act in the film. The team reached London and will shoot there.

Hawa Bodol which was released in 2013, delves into the life of two childhood friends Jeet (Parambrata) and Raj (Rudranil). Jeet achieves his goals – a secure job, a beautiful wife, and settled life – successfully, while Raj struggles to become a musician. The former gets stifled by his success and the latter wishes to see success in his life. At one point, their life gets swapped.
