Hawkeye first look: Hailee Steinfeld joins Jeremy Renner as Kate Bishop in upcoming Marvel series

After WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki and What If...?, Marvel Studios is bringing another TV show on Disney+. Yes, we are talking about Hawkeye starring Jeremy Renner in the titular role as Clint Barton. He is among the six OG Avengers and one of the best archers but this time he will be joined by a fellow archer who becomes his protege. 

The role is played by none other than Hailee Steinfeld. Yes, the actor will be seen as Kate Bishop, who is a fan-favourite character in Marvel Comics. The first look unveiled by Marvel features Jeremy and Hailee talking to each other and fans can't contain their excitement. 

While sharing the still, Marvel credited Entertainment Weekly for doing the honours and wrote on Instagram, "#Hawkeye never misses, so don’t miss @JeremyRenner and @HaileeSteinfeld in this @EntertainmentWeekly exclusive first-look of Marvel Studios’ "Hawkeye"! The Original Series starts streaming Wednesday, November 24 on @DisneyPlus."

Yes, after Loki, Hawkeye will also be streaming on Wednesdays from November 24, 2021, on Disney+ Hotstar here.

Jeremy has played the role of Clint/Hawkeye in several MCU films including Thor (2011), The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

He also had an uncredited cameo in the latest film Black Widow but not physically as only his voice is heard in the film. He has also given the voiceover in Marvel's upcoming animated series What If...? which is dropping next month on Disney+ Hotstar.

Hawkeye is helmed by Rhys Thomas and Jonathan Igla has penned the script of the series. 

Jeremy has been associated with Marvel for a decade now as he first featured in Chris Hemsworth starrer Thor which released in 2011. However, Renner had a special appearance in that film too.
