There is exciting news for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The first trailer for Marvel’s next show, Hawkeye, will be dropping soon. The news about the release of the trailer was shared by Jeremy Renner, the star who plays the avenger.
The actor took to his Instagram to reveal that the trailer will be releasing on Monday. Sharing a snippet from the trailer, which reveals a Christmas theme, the actor wrote, “Hawkeye trailer drops tomorrow!” But taking the time differences between the USA and India into account, it is understood that the trailer for Hawkeye will release in India later today.
The actor also shared a second post on Instagram - a photo of him with a bow and arrow and wrote, “Hawkeye trailer. Tomorrow morning”. The upcoming trailer for the show is expected to heavily focus on Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, a fellow archer, who becomes his protege.
The show, which will be the fifth MCU TV series produced by Marvel following WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and What If..?, will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. While Renner reprises his role as Hawkeye, Hailee Steinfeld will play the role of Kate Bishop. The show also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton and Alaqua Cox.
Jonathan Igla serves as the head writer for the show, helmed by Rhys Thomas. The show, which will see the return of Hawkeye to the delight of the fans of the MCU, is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on November 24.
