Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) have been excited for the arrival of Hawkeye, the series that will follow the bow and arrow wielding avenger. The show which has Jeremy Renner in the lead looks set to release. This will be the fifth TV project from Marvel Studios after WandaVision, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and What If…?
What is Hawkeye all about?
Hawkeye will follow Clint Barton aka Hawkeye as he teams up with young protege Kate Bishop, a young archer who is being trained to take over as Hawkeye. The two of them will have to confront bad guys that Barton made during his time as Ronin, after Thanos' snap.
What time is the events of Hawkeye set in?
Hawkeye is set in the same timeline and universe as the films of the MCU. The series will start off after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Who are the cast members of the series?
Apart from Jeremy Renner playing Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Hailee Stienfeld playing the role of Kate Bishop, the movie also includes Vera Farmiga, Tony Dalton, Fra Fee, Alaqua Cox, Brian d'Arcy James, Zahn McClarnon and Zahn McClarnon among others. Linda Cardellini will also reprise her role as Barton's wife from the MCU movies.
