The first look poster of Telugu actor Nithiin's upcoming film was unveiled on Saturday, for the occasion of his birthday. The film is called Thammudu and is directed by filmmaker Sriram Venu. The director has earlier helmed films like Pawan Kalyan-starrer Vakeel Saab, Nani’s Middle Class Abbayi, and Oh My Friend featuring Siddharth and Shruti Haasan.

The makers of Nithiin's next unveiled the first look of his upcoming film. Titled Thammudu, the poster features the actor holding a spear as he sits atop a bus full of people. The bus is drove by a tribal woman, as the passengers seem to look distressed. The film is directed by Sriram Venu who last made the 2021 film Vakeel Saab, the Telugu remake of Pink.
The upcoming film is backed by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. It is to be noted that Dil Raju has produced all the previous films of the director. However, Thammudu will mark Nithiin’s first collaboration with the filmmaker.
Thammudu will have music scored by composer Ajaneesh Loknath. Prawin Pudi will be handling the edits with Sameer Reddy cranking the camera. The makers have not revealed the plot of the film and additional information on the cast is expected to be revealed at a later stage. However, it is said that Kantara actress Sapthami Gowda will be playing the female lead in this film, with Varsha Bollama cast as Nithin's sister. Thammudu does not have a release date as of yet.

Nithiin’s body of work
Nithiin, who works in the Telugu film industry, was last seen in Extra Ordinary Man which released last year. Besides Thammudu, the actor also has Robinhood, directed by filmmaker Venky Kudumula. Touted to be an action comedy, Nithiin will play the role of a robber or a con man. The production of the film is under progress. The upcoming film is backed by Mythri Movie Makers production banner and marks Nithiin's second collaboration with Venky after Bheeshma.
