The makers of Pushpa: The Rule have released a new poster of their Srivalli, Rashmika Mandanna, on the occasion of the actor’s birthday today. Rashmika plays the female lead, a village belle, in the period action-drama film franchise Pushpa, which is headlined by Allu Arjun. The film is directed by Sukumar.

Rashmika Mandanna, who is among the top actors in the country, is celebrating her birthday today (April 5). To make the day more special, the makers of Pushpa released a new poster of her character from the movie, Srivalli.
The poster shows Rashmika in a saree, wearing several ornaments. It is a close-up shot in which Rashmika, as Srivalli, is holding her fingers around her right eye as she gives an intense stare. Comparing her looks from the first film, Rashmika sports mature make-up, as the sequel is expected to be set several years after the events of the first film.
Meanwhile, Rashmika will also be part of several exciting projects, including Dhanush’s Kubera, The Girlfriend, and Animal Park, to name a few.

Helmed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise released in 2021 to commercial success. The film stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, a red sanders smuggler who becomes the kingpin of the trade. Rashmika plays his love interest, Srivalli. While Fahadh Faasil made a cameo appearance in the first film, his role is expected to have longer portions in the upcoming sequel, in which he will play the antagonist. The teaser of Pushpa: The Rule is set to be released on April 8, with the film gearing up for a theatrical release on August 15.
Pushpa: The Rise was not only a commercial success but also a feather on the cap for the Telugu film industry after it won two awards at the 69th National Film Awards. While Allu Arjun bagged the Best Actor award, Devi Sri Prasad won Best Music Direction.
