Trailer for Warner Bros’ No Sudden Move directed by Steven Soderbergh just released and the Don Cheadle starrer promises to be a classic mafia drama. The movie follows a group of thieves who are supposed to steal the latest car technology. However the heist does not go as per their plans. The screenplay of the movie has been written by Ed Solomon while it has been produced by Casey Silver. Soderbergh, Solomon and Silver have previously collaborated on the HBO series titled Mosaic.

The mafia drama will premiere as the Tribeca Film Festival’s Centerpiece Gala selection on June 18. Cast members are also expected to appear at the outdoor event, but for everyone else, No Sudden Move will debut this July 1 on HBO Max.

The talented cast and the fact that it doesn’t let you guess the plot makes the trailer stand out. The film features the likes of Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, David Harbour and Jon Hamm, Amy Seimetz, Brendan Fraser, Kieran Culkin, Noah Jupe, Craig Mums Grant, Julia Fox, Frankie Shaw, Ray Liotta and Bill Duke.

The official synopsis of the movie reads, “In 1955 Detroit, a group of small-time criminals are hired to steal emerging car technology. When their plan goes horribly wrong, their search for who hired them – and for what ultimate purpose – weaves them through all echelons of the race-torn, rapidly changing city. From Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh and starring Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, David Harbour, Ray Liotta, Jon Hamm, Brendan Fraser, Kieran Culkin and Amy Seimetz and Julia Fox.”
