Mark White is famous for creating ‘Enlightened’ for HBO. The comedy series was critically acclaimed and ran for two seasons from 2011 to 2013.

HBO announced that production for the series began in October 2020 in Hawaii. “Mike is an unparalleled talent whose groundbreaking work has transformed both the film and TV space. “It’s beyond exciting to return to HBO with this project and such an incredible cast,” an excited Mark White said in 2020. He also added, “I am very grateful to everyone who has made it possible for us to bring our little bubble to Hawaii, a place I am proud to think of as a second home.”
