There has been some quality Tamil content on OTT of late. Disney+ Hotstar, which ventured into Tamil web series with hit series such as Mathagam and Label, has now announced a new Tamil medical series titled Heart Beat – The Rhythm of Life. Directed by Deepak Sundarrajan, the series is touted to be a medical comedy drama. It stars Malayalam actress Anumol, Deepa Balu, Charukesh, RG Ram, Sarvhaa, Padinekumar, Guru Lakshman and Jayarao CH in key roles.

Heart Beat is a fun medical drama

The makers of Heat Beat released a promo video in which we see all the key characters in a hospital; they are all doctors, nurses and other hospital staff. The series looks like a fun take on what goes on behind the scenes at a hospital and how the staff explore their profession and build a community. The video also shows that the series caters to audiences who are interested in watching not-so-serious and light-hearted medical comedies with happy vibes.

According to Disney+ Hotstar, the series is based around RK Multispeciality Hospital and its doctors, who are resilient as they deal with medical and personal challenges.
