Heart Beat S2 OTT release date: When and where to stream second season of Tamil medical drama series

We had earlier reported that the Tamil medical drama series Heart Beat has been renewed for the second season by JioHotstar. Now, the streaming platform has announced the release date. Heart Beat season two will begin streaming from March 22 onwards

Even as the OTT space is very underexplored in Tamil film industry, JioHotstar has been able to roll out some Tamil web series last year. One of them was Heart Beat, a medical drama series which is set in a multi-speciality hospital and explores the lives of medical professional working there.

With about 100 episodes, the first season of Heart Beat was all about the life of Rina, an estranged daughter of a surgeon and an intern at the hospital where she is also working. Slowly, she gets acquainted with the other employees of the establishment, who, like her, are trying to have a work-life balance.

Soon after the series ended, the makers announced a second season of the show. In the latest, JioHostar announced that Heart Beat S2 will release on March 22. The second season will be continuing to show the life of Rina who is now a doctor, and has become mature enough to handle her juniors while also having fun with her peers. She also has a disturbed love life with Arjun. Written and directed by Deepak Sundarrajan, the series features Anumol, Deepa Balu, Tourist Family fame Yogalakshmi, and others.
