We had earlier announced that the second season of Tamil web series Heart Beat is in the making and will be launched soon on JioHotstar. Recently, the streaming platform teased the second instalment with a new glimpse and protagonist character Rina is seen in her professional medical setup.

JioHotstar, which churned out various Tamil web series of late, is coming up with the second season of its medical drama Heart Beat. While a release date is yet to be announced, the streaming platform released a new glimpse recently on social media.

For those who don't know, Heart Beat is a medical drama and revolves around the professional and personal lives of those who work in a multi-speciality hospital, including doctors, interns and attendants. The first season followed the life of Rina, an estranged daughter of a surgeon and an intern at the hospital where she is also working. Slowly, she gets acquainted with the other employees of the establishment, who, like her, are trying to have a work-life balance.

In the teaser of the second season, we see Rina as a doctor, who is continuing in her medical profession as she attends to the patients. The teaser shows a mature Rina who is trying to handle the juniors, have fun with her colleagues, while also balancing her disturbed love life with Arjun. A release date for the second season is yet to be announced.
