Heart of Stone: Amid Alia Bhatt's Hollywood announcement, co-star Gal Gadot unveils her first look

For Alia Bhatt fans, Tuesday started on an amazing note. The actor is all set for not only her Netflix debut, but also her Hollywood debut with the film Heart of Stone. The announcement came just a few hours after the lead actress, Gal Gadot, unveiled her first look from the upcoming film. Yes, Bhatt will be starring alongside Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the forthcoming spy thriller.

While sharing her first look, the Wonder Woman star even shared a BTS video of her and her badass avatar on the sets. She captioned her post, "Rachel Stone." Nice to meet you. #HeartOfStone @netflixfilm @pilotwavemotionpictures @jaronvarsano @skydance."

The premise of Heart of Stone is about Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot) an intelligence operative who is the only woman standing between her powerful, global peacekeeping organisation and the loss of its most valuable and dangerous asset.

The film, written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, is directed by Tom Harper. Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, along with Mockingbird’s Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn, and Pilot Wave’s Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano, are producing the movie. Patty Whitcher, Tom Harper, and Greg Rucka are also the executive producers.

Bhatt signed a contract with William Morris Agency (WME), one of the leading international talent management agencies, in 2021. 

According to Deadline, the actor has signed with William Morris Agency in all areas, indicating that she intends to go big by spreading her wings internationally. WME is one of the oldest talent agencies, managing sports, events, media, and fashion.

The agency also signed actress Freida Pinto, who went on to appear in films such as Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Immortals.

Meanwhile, Bhatt is currently riding high on the success of her latest outing, Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
