It is a sad day for the fans who were rooting for celebrity couple Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone as the duo has, according to ET Canada, ended their relationship.

The former couple has always been private about their relationship after being first spotted together in public in January of 2018 in Aspen, Colo. They made their red-carpet debut as an item at the 2020 Oscars, where they sat together in the front row.

According to a news report by People way back in 2019, a source told them that things were “pretty serious" between them, before adding, “It’s definitely not a casual relationship. Camila spends a lot of time at his house. Camila is long known as Leo’s girlfriend. And Leo introduced her to both of his parents long ago.”

In December of that same year, the pair discussed their vast age gap with the Los Angles Times.

"There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date," Morrone had said at the time.

The young model had also added that it was “frustrating” for her to be to known only as DiCaprio’s girlfriend while trying to establish her own acting career. “I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you’re dating... I understand the association, but I’m confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation," she had added.

Both of them are yet to confirm or deny the news.
