Hellbound is set to return for a new season, and will be out on OTT sooner than you think! The thriller K-Drama, which left everyone biting their nails the last time around, returns with more thrills. Wondering where can you catch more of the mind-blowing suspense unfolding? We tell you...
Hellbound season 2, featuring Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyun-joo, Kim Shin-rok, Park Jeong-min, Won Jin-a, Yang Ik-june, Lee Re, Kim Do-yoon and Ryu Kyung-soo in the lead roles, will be out on October 25. It has six episodes and all the episodes of the show are expected to be out on Friday.
Like season 1, Hellbound 2 will also stream on Netflix. The show is a Netflix original series and thus, it will not be out on Korean TV separately, at least not immediately.
Hellbound is in the name. The show is about supernatural being coming to earth to send individuals to hell. While doing so, they end up giving rise to a religious group which believes in divine justice. The second season is bound to continue with where the previous season left off – with more names ready to be enlisted in hell, and the group growing stronger.
Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young's The Judge From Hell has been making the news since a few weeks. The show sees her in the role of a demon Justitia in the body of a human named Judge Kang. Justitia has been sent to earth with the purpose of sending murderers to hell. So, the concept clashes, but Hellbound already enjoys a fan following and thus, it also has that edge in front of The Judge From Hell. The other major difference is that The Judge From Hell is ongoing, while Hellbound 2 will be out at once (even if they both will release on the same day).
