Alakh Pandey, who founded PhysicsWallah, grew through a YouTube channel. The majority of growth was from 2016-2020. His journey as a YouTuber connected with Indian students who were curious to learn something new. Alakh built a community through the four years.
He achieved peak success in 2022, where Alakh and PhysicsWallah made profit of nearly Rs. 97.8 crores. Over the next few years (2023-2025), PhysicsWallah went into hybrid mode and opened Vidyapeeth centres in approximately 152 cities, all by mid-2025.
