Almost four months since its theatrical release, Malayalam horror-comedy Hello Mummy, which has Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sharafudheen in the lead, is finally out of OTT. The movie, which is directed by Vaisakh Elans, is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Malayalam.

The platform dropped the movie, which was highly-anticipated for being a family friendly film, without much noise, probably because it is available to stream only in Malayalam.

Hello Mummy revolves around a newly-wed couple – Boney and Steffy. After getting married to Steffy (Aishwarya), Boney agrees to live with her and her dad. His task, however, is to impress his mother-in-law, who had passed away 22 years ago but her spirit still lingers with her family. Boney’s adventures at their home, where he forced to live with a ghost and also obey the set of rules that she wants to follow make the plot of this hilarious movie.

The film also has Johny Antony, Jagadish, Aju Varghese, Joemon Jyothir, Adhri Joe and Binu Panicker. Bollywood actor Sunny Hinduja essays the role of the antagonist, who belongs to an immortal race of people who track down pure souls that escape their clutches. This also sets up the sequel of the film.
