Her Chapter 1: Ruhani Sharma, Vikas Vasishta’s chemistry is the USP of the breezy melody Dheere Dheere

Ruhani Sharma, who rose to prominence with Chi La Sow and redefined herself in a wide variety of roles in Hit: The First Case, Meet Cute, Dirty Hari and Nootokka Jillala Andagadu, has multiple releases in the coming months - Her: Chapter 1 and Sri Ranga Neethulu. The first among them to hit theatres will be Her, a cop thriller directed by debutant Sreedhar Swaraghav.

Her, the first film where Ruhani dons the khaki, releases on July 21. Cinema Bandi, Mukhachitram fame Vikas Vasishta is cast as the male lead. Suresh Productions has acquired the distribution rights of the thriller in the Telugu states. Raghu Sankuratri and Deepa Sankuratri are bankrolling the film under Double Up Media.

After making an impression with the teaser, the first single from the film, Dheere Dheere, was launched today. Pavan composes the music for the album whose audio rights are acquired by Saregama. Mahesh Poloju has written the lyrics for the number crooned by Akanksha Bisht. The lead pair is in the middle of a road trip shot amidst scenic locales.

Right from the slow-burn composition to its husky rendition and the undeniable visual appeal, the song warrants your attention. The earthy colour tone, the smart use of locations and the impactful close-ups elevate its impact. The lyrics are quite basic but fit the needs of the number. Needless to say, Ruhani Sharma and Vikas Vasishta, playing the lovestruck couple, are a delight to watch.

Pradeep Rudra, Jeevan Kumar, Abhignya, Sanjay Swaroop, Benerjee, Ravi Varma and Ravi Prakash essay other key roles in Her. Vishnu Besi cranks the camera for the film that’s edited by Chanakya Toorupu. Sreedhar, the director, made a mark with his award-winning short film Aayudham previously. Meanwhile, Ruhani’s also landed a plum role in Saindhav, Sailesh Kolanu’s action thriller with Venkatesh.
