Her Chapter 1 trailer: Ruhani Sharma nails her no-nonsense cop act in this murder mystery

Ruhani Sharma, the Chi La Sow girl, is attempting an image makeover with her next release - Her - Chapter 1. The film is an investigative thriller directed by a debutant Sreedhar Swaraghav. Raghu Sankuratri and Deepa Sankuratri of Double Up Media are bankrolling the film that releases in theatres on July 21. Vikas Vashista, Sanjay Swaroop and Pradeep Rudra play key roles as well.

The film’s trailer was unveiled by Varun Tej today. “Impressive trailer of #HER. My best wishes to @iRuhaniSharma and the entire team! Goodluck,” he tweeted as he shared the trailer on social media. The glimpse begins with the shot of Ruhani Sharma asking a suspect about the murder of a girl named Swathi. Going back in time, the trailer takes the viewer through the cop’s tryst with the case.

The cops working under Ruhani inform that a car concerning the murder is registered under the name of Vishal Pasupuleti while the identity of the victim remains unknown. She digs into the specifics of the case and interacts with various acquaintances of Swathi, her relationships, traits. The mystery deepens with the results of the samples from the crime scene.

A forensic expert claims that at least two persons are involved in the murder. Ruhani warns a suspect, ‘don’t take our kindness as weakness’. There are a series of shootouts and the trailer ends with a monologue where Ruhani blames the culprit for murdering two people, wishing she could whack him but resists from touching him.

Suresh Productions is releasing the film across Telugu states. Vinod Varma, Abhignya, Jeevan, Ravi Varma form the supporting cast. Vishnu Besi is the cinematographer and Chanakya Reddy Toorupu is the editor. Pavan has scored the music and Sreesan G is the sound designer. Saregama has bagged the audio rights and the first single - Dheere Dheere - released to good responses.
