Hera Pheri 3 legal row: Paresh Rawal returns Rs 11 lakh to Akshay Kumar | Know how much his fees were locked at

Hera Peri 3 has been trending over social media for all the wrong reasons, as the soul of the movie, Paresh Rawal aka Baburao, has decided to quit the film. The actor confirmed the news on his X account as well, and now he is no longer a part of the movie as he has returned the signing amount of Rs 11 lakh plus interest, as per reports. 

Paresh Rawal returns Hera Pheri 3 signing amount

According to Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal has returned the signing amount, Rs 11 lakh, along with 15%  annual interest and an additional amount for Hera Pheri 3.

"Paresh Rawal has returned the signing amount of Rs 11 lakh with 15% p.a. interest and also a little more money for stepping away from the series," a source informed the portal.

The source also revealed that Paresh Rawal was paid Rs. 11 lakh as a signing amount as per the term sheet and his total fees were locked at Rs. 15 crore. "The term sheet mentioned that Paresh Rawal would receive the balance amount - Rs. 14.89 crore - only one month after the release of the film," the source added.

Is Pankaj Tripathi replacing Paresh Rawal in Hera Pheri 3?

Pankaj Tripathi's name popped up on several fans after Paresh Rawal exited from Hera Pheri 3. Several fans even mentioned that the makers should cast Pankaj as Baburao. 

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the Stree 2 actor was asked to share his reaction to fans wanting him to act in Hera Pheri 3. “That is something I have also heard and read. I don't believe in it. Paresh ji is an amazing actor. I am zero in front of him. I respect him a lot. I don't think I am the right person for the role,” Pankaj said.

Paresh Rawal's Hera Pheri 3 exit confirmation

On May 18, Paresh Rawal took to his X account and wrote, "I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director." This post broke many fans' hearts as Hera Pheri 3 would not be possible without Paresh's Baburao. Now, time will tell about the update of Baburao's role.
