Hera Pheri 3: Sanjay Dutt breaks silence on being a part of the Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal starrer

One of the most well-known comedy franchises in Bollywood is Hera Pheri, starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. Finally, the news that the group will reunite for Hera Pheri 3 has delighted fans. According to reports, Sanjay Dutt will join the threequel's cast. Dutt has finally himself confirmed the news of his joining the clan. 

Raju, Shyam, and Babu Rao became well-known names when the first movie, which came out in 2000, was released. The franchise's second movie debuted in 2006, and now, after years of challenges and problems, the third installment is finally coming.

Speaking at a press conference, Sanjay said, "Yes, I am doing the film. It will be exciting to shoot with the whole team. It's a great franchise, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. Firoz aur mera rishta bhi bahut purana hai (I have a close relationship with producer Firoz Nadiadwala), and it's great to be together with Akshay (Kumar), Suniel anna (Shetty), and Paresh (Rawal)." He was speaking at a store launch in Mumbai.

According to earlier rumours, Sanjay Dutt might play Ravi Kishan's brother in Hera Pheri 3. For the uninitiated, Ravi was a part of Totla Seth's gang in Hera Pheri 2 under the identity Sharad Saxena. No additional confirmation, though, has been provided.

Regarding the movie's director, early rumours said that Anees Bazmee would take the helm of Hera Pheri 3. Farhad Samji, the director of Bachchhan Paandey, was later announced as the film's director.

Meanwhile, Tabu and Om Puri both appeared in the first Hera Pheri movie, which was directed by Priyadarshan and released in 2000. Hera Pheri is a remake of the Malayalam film Ramji Rao from 1989. Neeraj Vohra wrote and directed the sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, which was released in 2006, six years later. Akshay, Paresh, and Suniel all appeared in both movies. Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Bipasha Basu, and Rimi Sen also starred in the second movie.
