'Hera Pheri without Babu Bhaiyya is like Idli without chutney': Fans react as Paresh Rawal quits Hera Pheri 3

Hera Pheri 3 has been receiving a lot of love ever since it was announced and fans could not wait to see the return of the OG trio, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. However, speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal confirmed that he has quit Hera Pheri 3 due to creative differences. After the news spread on social media, fans expressed their disappointment. 

Fans react to Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3

Hera Pheri without Paresh Rawal is unimaginable as he played one of the main leads, Baburao, along with Akshay Kumar's Raju and Suniel Shetty's Shyam. However, Rawal's confirmation about his exit from the third instalment left fans disappointed. 

One fan who cannot believe the news, wrote on X, "There isn't Any Sense of Making #HeraPheri3 if There's No #PareshRawal as Baburao Ganpatrao Aapte I think it's Marketing Strategy by Team. He Will join Later soon." 

Another commented, "Babu Bhaiya was soul of this film!." 

A third fan urged the makers of Hera Pheri to conduct an immediate meeting with Paresh Rawal and because if he is not in the film, then Hera Pheri won't be Hera Pheri.

Paresh Rawal confirms his exit from Hera Pheri 3

Bollywood Hungama reported that Paresh Rawal has quit Hera Pheri 3. The source mentioned, “There were creative differences between the makers and Paresh Rawal. As a result, the actor decided to step down from the film.” When the portal contacted the actor, he confirmed the news and said, "Yes, it’s a fact.”

Earlier, speaking to the portal, the veteran actor revealed that Hera Pheri 3 would go on floors in January or February of 2026, but it would take time for Raju (Akshay Kumar), Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, and Shyam (Suniel Shetty) to come back.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty will be seen in Welcome To The Jungle. Apart from this, Paresh and Akshay will also share screen space in Priyadarshan's Bhooth Bangla. It will be released on April 2, 2026.
