3 Roses is directed by Maggi, for which director Maruthi is the showrunner
Promoted as the first female-trio web series in the Telugu web space, aha's upcoming show 3 Roses has been all over social media in the past week. Written by Ravi Namburi and directed by Maggi, 3 Roses has director Maruthi as the show runner. The show is produced by SKN under Action Cut Movies LLP. The platform had the audiences curious with the first poster that featured three young women in a bar and went onto reveal their identities one after the other through the week. It's now official - 3 Roses is headlined by Paayal Rajput, Poorna Kasim and Eesha Rebba in lead roles.
It gives me immense pleasure to introduce u to Ritu. She’s gonna mesmerize u with how she juggles btw the world she wants nd a world that her parents want.— Eesha Rebba (@YoursEesha) October 9, 2021

Eesha is cast in the role of Ritu, a girl who maintains a balance between her wants and her expectations from her parents. Paayal Rajput plays Jhanvi, a woman who has no space for rules or regrets in her life. Finally, Poorna is labelled a drama queen, while essaying the character named Indu, reportedly the funniest and liveliest person of the lot. They are ultimately three urban, independent women who live life on their own terms. Several names were considered and speculated to be a part of the show, right from Kajal Aggarwal to Regina Cassandra.
The makers promise that the show will have all elements that define filmmaker Maruthi's brand of storytelling and entertain audiences. Balreddy has been roped in as the cinematographer of 3 Roses, while the editor is SB Uddhav. Uyyala Jampala fame MR Sunny is music director of the show. Incidentally, another film directed by Maruthi, Manchi Rojulochaie, is also slated to release on aha soon. While Manchi Rojulochaie was envisioned as a web film initially, it's not clear if the film will hit theatres first or OTT. Stay tuned to this space for more developments.
