British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will wrap up his Mathematics tour in Mumbai today. This concert at Mahalaxmi Race Course Grounds is part of his 2024 Asia and Europe Tour. It's Sheeran's second India performance since 2017. The event starts at 3 pm with a set by Indian musician Prateek Kuhad. English singer Calum Scott will make a special appearance before Sheeran takes the stage at 7:15 pm. Ahead of this high-profile concert, here is what Prateek Kuhad has to say.
Prateek Kuhad praises Ed Sheeran
Prateek Kuhad – known for songs namely Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and Saansein - expressed his excitement at the opportunity to open for Ed Sheeran, during Sheeran's Mumbai gig in India today. In an interview with HT City, Prateek said, “I am an Ed Sheeran fan. I really like his songs. If you see the other shows that he has performed across the world, the production has been really interesting. It will be cool to be [a part of] a good show like this one.”
Curious to know what Prateek Kuhad has in store for his fans today, the news outlet popped the question. He, however, refused to reveal his playlist lined up for the day. Wrapping up the conversation, Prateek Kuhad outlined that has an international tour lined up and would be releasing a single in the upcoming weeks.

Ed Sheeran is making a comeback to Mumbai after his successful Divide Tour in 2017. In the past year, he has released two albums, '-' (Subtract) and Autumn Variations, which have been widely acclaimed. This isn't Sheeran's first time in India.
In 2015, he was spotted socializing with Indian celebrities in Mumbai. One thing in common during all these visits is the fact that he met superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Time and again, he has expressed his deep love and admiration for Shah Rukh Khan.
