It's unbelievable that 2023 has come to an end! From Hollywood to Bollywood, a lot of big things have happened this year like - Taylor Swift's Eras Tour made history by becoming the highest grossing solo music tour of all time, and Shah Rukh Khan has returned with back-to-back movies, which have become the highest grossers of all time in Indian cinema.

Truly this year has given a rollercoaster of events for the moviegoers. Whereas Pathaan and Jawan have made killer history, Barbie and Oppenheimer have also made outstanding collections from around the world. Interestingly, this year not a Marvel movie, but a Warner Bros. movie made the first billion-dollar collection.

As 2023 has come to an end, let's have a look at the movies from Hollywood to Bollywood, that are going to make the year end special:

Dunki

After giving 2 blockbusters, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to give another smashing hit, Dunki. This is the first time King Khan has given 3 movies in a row. Dunki tells the story about the rampant use of an illegal backdoor route called Donkey Flight by immigrants to enter countries like Canada and the US. The movie will be released on December 22.

Wonka

This movie focuses on a young Willy Wonka and how he came to meet the Oompa-Loompas on one of his earliest adventures. Wonka is believed to serve as the prequel to the event of Johnny Depp's famous movie, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. It will be released on December 8.

Animal

Ranbir Kapoor is coming to take your breath away with his rowdy character in this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. This is the first time Ranbir, Sandeep and Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol have collaborated. It tells a story about a son's love for his father. Often away due to work the father is unable to comprehend the intensity of his son's love. Ironically, this fervent love and admiration for his father and family creates conflict between the father and son. Animal will be released on December 1.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Jason Momoa is coming back to reprise his role in this fantasy action drama. It is a sequel to the 2018 movie. After failing to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta wields the power of the mythic Black Trident to unleash an ancient and malevolent force. Hoping to end his reign of terror, Aquaman forges an unlikely alliance with his brother, Orm, the former king of Atlantis. Setting aside their differences, they join forces to protect their kingdom and save the world from irreversible destruction. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be making a clash with Dunki on December 22.

Rebel Moon

Zack Snyder's this movie is inspired by Star Wars. While the main plot influence for Rebel Moon is Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai, a film about samurai protecting a village from evil invaders, the sci-fi twist on the story takes its cues from more pulpy fiction. Snyder is an eclectic filmmaker and takes inspiration from all over the place. It will also clash with Dunki an Aquaman on December 22.

Salaar

It is currently one of the most awaited movies from the South. This Prashanth Neel directorial tells the story of a gang leader, who makes a promise to a dying friend by taking on other criminal gangs. Salaar stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumarn in the leads. This is the 2nd movie the duo has teamed up on. Previously they were seen in KGF: Chapter 3. Salaar will also be released on December 22.
