The film stars Santosh Shobhan and Mehreen Kaur in lead roles
Director Maruthi's courageous decision of taking a break from the making of Gopichand's Bomma Blockbuster to wrap up a web film Manchi Rojulu Vacchayi in a single 30-day schedule is paying off well. The shoot of the film staring Santosh Shobhan and Mehreen Kaur went as per schedule sans any delay and the post production of the digital-only project is now progressing at a record pace. The first look of Manchi Rojulu Vachayi featuring its lead pair was released on Tuesday.
A nerdy looking Santosh Shobhan and a happy Mehreen strike a pose in the pleasant-looking poster that registers a good first impression among viewers. V Celluloid and SKN are producing the web film which has music by Anup Rubens and cinematography by Sai Sriram. Maruthi has written the story and penned the screenplay for the film that's expected to land on a top OTT platform soon. The makers have catchily suggested as 'releasing in healthy theatres soon' in the poster.
Santosh Shobhan, who turned a lead actor with films like Thanu Nenu and Paper Boy, shot to fame with his direct-to-OTT release Ek Mini Katha, that streamed on Amazon Prime Video this May. The lead actress Mehreen besides Manchi Rojulu Vachayi is also a part of Anil Ravipudi's F3, a sequel to her 2019 Sankranti release F2. The web film's producer SKN is also bankrolling another project for aha titled 3 Roses starring Regina Cassandra, Poorna and Payal Rajput.
