Here's what Arya has to say about Sarpatta Parambarai's OTT release

Pa. Ranjith-directed Sarpatta Parambarai, starring Arya in the lead, is among the many Tamil biggies heading for an OTT release this season. Many in the industry were taken by surprise to notice such a much-anticipated, prestigious project taking the digital route just when theatre-owners were hoping for some respite. The film is now premiering on Amazon Prime Video on July 22 in Tamil and Telugu (dubbed as Sarpatta Parampara).

The story traces the life of a boxer in the 80s and the prevalent boxing culture in the era. Talking about the OTT release, Arya expressed his happiness about the film releasing in 240 countries on the same day. He promises nothing but an 'entertainment extravaganza' for the audiences and asked them to be ready for a 'knock out' punch.

Sarpatta Parambarai also features Dushhara, Sanjana Natarajan, Kalaiyarasan, Kaali Venkat, and Santhosh Prathap in key roles. This is actor Arya's second film to release on OTT after Teddy opposite Sayyeshaa, currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Produced by Neelam Productions and K9 Studioz, Sarpatta has music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by G Murali and is edited by RK Selva.
