Amala Paul's long-delayed Adho Andha Paravai Pola is finally set to hit screens on August 26th. The film is said to be a survival thriller set in the backdrop of a forest and is directed by debutant KR Vinoth. The plot revolves around a woman who gets trapped in a forest along with two children and is trying to get away from there. The star cast for the film includes Amala Paul, Ashish Vidyarthi, Samir Kochchar and Supreme Sundhar.
Adho Andha Paravai Pola is said to be Amala Paul's most physically demanding character and the actress seems to have done some heavy-duty stunts in it. The actress refrained from using a body double. The actress had revealed that this was the most strenuous film she worked on after Mynaa. Amala lost weight for her character and the stunts were choreographed in a manner that would suit the actress.
The title Adho Andha Paravai Pola has been taken from a popular song of Puratchi Thalaivar MG Ramchandran’s iconic film, Aayirathil Oruvan. The title talks about freedom and that one must like a bird, free in the air. Music for the film is by Jakes Bejoy. The film has been written by Arun Rajagopalan. Adho Andha Paravai Pola has been lying in the cans for a very long time and the team had announced multiple release dates but had to pushing the dates due to the pandemic and other reasons.
In the meantime, Amala Paul is also awaiting the release of Cadaver in which she plays a surgeon. The film, directed by Anoop Panicker is said to be an investigative thriller and features Harish Uthaman, Munishkanth and Athulya Ravi as well. Amala was last seen in SonyLIV's Victim, Who’s Next?
