While on one hand, actor Randeep Hooda has to his credit, of having done action-packed films like Kick, D, Highway, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Sultan and others, on the other hand, he has done romantic films as well. These films are in the form of Love Aaj Kal, Do Lafzon Ki Kahani and others. Amongst all this, the stellar performer that he is, announced that he will not just be acting, but also producing a historic film Swantantrya Veer Savarkar! The film’s makers today revealed the details about the film's trailer launch.

The film’s makers today, announced that the film’s trailer will be launched on March 4 (Monday) at 10.30 am in Mumbai. Readers may recall that, few days ago, the release date of the film was announced as March 22. The film Swantantrya Veer Savarkar, which is based on the illustrious life of Hindutva ideologue V D Savarkar, will feature Randeep Hooda in the titular role.

It was Randeep Hooda who took to social media and announced the release date of the film by posting, ‘Two heroes of Indian Independence Struggle; One celebrated and One removed from History On #MartyrsDay 2024 - HISTORY WILL BE REWRITTEN #SwatantryaVeerSavarkar IN CINEMAS ON 22nd March, 2024 #VeerSavarkarOn22ndMarch #WhoKilledHisStory’.
As for the film’s cast, besides Randeep Hooda, it also stars Ankita Lokhande and Amit Sial in leading roles. The film has been directed and co-written by Randeep Hooda with Utkarsh Naithani. While the film is being produced by Randeep Hooda, Zee Studios, Sandeep Singh, Anand Palit, and Sam Khan, it is being co-produced by Roopa Pandit, Yogesh Rahar, and Panchali Chakraborty.
While announcing the release date of the film, Randeep Hooda also had mentioned that the film has been planned to be released in two languages viz., Hindi as well as Marathi. To which, a few netizens did raise their concern by commenting ‘Why only Hindi and Marathi? This movie needs to be dubbed in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and English too. Only then it shall get maximum reach’.
