Jr. NTR is riding high on the success of his last film, Devara Part 1, which grossed over Rs 500 crore at the box office and firmly re-established him in the game. He is currently busy shooting for his new action film, War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film also features Hrithik Roshan in the lead role and is set for release on August 15, 2025.

Apart from this, NTR is also slated to collaborate with Prashanth Neel, known for KGF and Salaar. We have now learned that the shooting of this film will kick off next week in the Vikarabad forests near Hyderabad.
A source close to the production team has revealed that the action drama will begin filming without NTR, featuring a few supporting actors. Meanwhile, a special set is being erected for the shoot. After a week or so, NTR will join the cast to film a high-octane action sequence, as per reports.
This marks the first-ever collaboration between NTR and Prashanth Neel, and there is massive anticipation worldwide to see what Neel has in store for this film. Hombale Films is producing the project on a massive scale, though the lead actress is yet to be finalized. Several names are in consideration, but the actress who ultimately bags the role will have the golden opportunity to romance Jr NTR on screen.

The makers are planning to release the film on Sankranthi 2026 in a grand manner, and preparations for the same are already underway. Jr NTR also has Devara Part 2 in the pipeline, but there is no clarity on when the film will go on floors, as he is in talks with a few Tamil directors as well.
