Here's when Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina starrer Mumbai Diaries 26/11 will stream on Amazon Prime

After The Empire, Nikkhil Advani's other OTT outing is set to be out in September. Titled Mumbai Diaries 26/11, the Amazon Original Series is a medical drama set against the backdrop of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The upcoming web series features Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Prakash Belawadi in the lead roles.

The makers have dropped the first look of the series along with the streaming date. Mumbai Diaries 26/11 will be out on Amazon Prime Video on September 9, 2021. While sharing the first look, Nikkhil captioned it as "This is a story of the heroes in white, who stayed united and courageous, to save lives!"

The premise of the series is described as "Mumbai Diaries 26/11 depicts the untold story of doctors, nurses, paramedics, and hospital staff who worked tirelessly to save lives during the terror attacks that ravaged the city on November 26, 2008."

It's a fictional edge-of-the-seat medical drama set against the backdrop of the unforgettable night that also united Mumbai city. The web series will showcase the events that unfold in the Emergency Room of a government hospital while exploring the challenges faced by the medical staff at the hospital. It will also show the other first responders across the city of Mumbai in dealing with a crisis of immense magnitude.

The series was announced in November 2020 along with a short promo shared on social media pages. Nikkhil had penned, "Not enough is spoken about the sheer grit of first responders as they struggle to keep us safe in our city. Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is my ode to that undying spirit."
