Salman Khan is said to be working on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali now that Tiger 3 is nearing the end of its shoot. In the first week of April, the superstar is expected to begin filming for Farhad Samji's directorial. As per reports in Mid Day, according to insiders, the director plans to start shooting with a bang, with Khan's entrance sequence involving a helicopter chase.
A source told the tabloid that the production crew had set April 1 as the start date for the shoot, with Salman to join the following week. The stunt directors have been called in for the first sequence, which is a major action set-piece. It will be shot at the helipad in Goregaon's Film City.
Sajid Nadiadwala's film, which also stars Pooja Hegde and Zaheer Iqbal, has already secured a December 30 release date. Khan is said to play the family's eldest brother, who refuses to marry because he believes it will destroy the family's unity.
The source also said that it's being pitched as a high-octane action thriller. In comparison to Salman and Sajid's last collaboration, Kick [2014], the scale of this film will be substantially larger. Before going on to the emotional parts, the team wants to finish all of the action scenes.
This is the first time Salman and Pooja will be sharing the screen space on the big screen. However, she has reunited with Sajid and Farhad after Housefull 4, in which she starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, and Kriti Kharbanda.
Pooja's most recent release is Radhe Shyam, which is a pan-Indian multilingual film co-starring Prabhas. Radha Krishna Kumar wrote and directed this period love drama film. UV Creations and T-Series co-produced the film, which was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.
