HERE's when Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi's much-awaited Gatta Kusthi will hit screens

The release date of the much-awaited Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi's upcoming film Gatta Kusthi has been announced. Vishnu Vishal will play a wrestler in Gatta Kusthi, which is helmed by Chella Ayyavu. Taking to his social media handle, Vishnu Vishal released a brand new poster from the film in which he is seen posing confidently along with the leading lady Aishwarya Lekshmi. He also called the film his biggest ever in his career. He captioned the picture, "My biggest film till date coming in a big way #GattaKusthi #MattiKusthi in theatres on the 2nd of December, 2022 (sic)." Popular Telugu actor Ravi Teja will also be part of the film.

Gatta Kushti is said to be Vishnu's third sports film, after his debut film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu (2009), in which he was seen as a Kabaddi player and Jeeva (2014), where he played a cricketer. In the first-look poster of the film, which was released by Dhanush, Vishnu was seen with a toned physique. Dhanush had written on his social media handle, "Here is the first look of #GattaKusthi. Always a pleasure to see @TheVishnuVishal in sports films. Wish you another grand success with this film Vishnu (sic)."

Vishnu is said to be playing a dual role in the film, and the deets about the other character has been kept under wraps. While Justin Prabhakaran has scored music for the film, Richard M Nathan has cranked the camera. Prasanna GK is handling the editing. The stunt choreography is by Anbariv. The film will be released in Telugu as well as Matti Kusthi. The post production is in full swing and the film will hit screens on December 2.

Soon after Vishnu Vishal posted about the release date, Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep wished him saying he was looking forward to the film.

Vishnu also has in the pipeline, Mohandas, a psycho mystery thriller, directed by Murali Karthick. The team has already released the teaser which has been well received by the audience.
