Here’s why Ashneer Grover will not watch Shark Tank India Season 2

In a recent interview, Ashneer Grover - entrepreneur and one of the judges of the reality TV show Shark Tank India Season 1 - revealed that he will not watch the new season of the show and also stopped following all the judges of the show on social media.

When he was asked if he will be watching the new season of the show, Ashneer said, “I am not going to watch Shark Tank India Season 2. I feel separation should be clean.” He also added that he has stopped following all the ‘Sharks’ on social media, because he feels that now it is their game and they should play it well. 

Ashneer said that he would rather invest his energy to explore something else and the show is a thing of the past for him. “I have to do something else in life. I don’t want to live in the past. Once I was sure of the fact that I am not a part of Season 2, I unfollowed everyone,” he explained.

However, he does not discourage anyone from watching the show as he also mentioned that he does not hold any grudges against anyone. “If you like Shark Tank India 2 better than the previous season then appreciate it. I won’t watch it. I don’t have any grudges against it, I still feel it is a great format. I am busy with other things,” said the businessman.

The show is the Indian franchise of the American business reality show Shark Tank. The first season of the 35-episode show started in December 2021 and the second season started on January 2, on Sonyliv and on Sony Entertainment television. The new ‘Sharks’ of the new season are Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Namita Thapar and Amit Jain.
