Heropanti 2 starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria in the lead is edging closer to its big release. While the movie is expected to be high on action, it is now understood that ten Lamborghinis were destroyed while filming an action sequence for the movie.

According to a source, “It took a heart of an action director to tarnish 10 deluxe Lamborghinis. Considering the requirement of heavy stunts in the sequence, we had to hire the most competent stunt trainers who could make the entire process smoother (sic).”

The source also claims that Heropanti 2 will have the biggest action sequence to have been filmed and that the movie has been made to give the viewers visually stunning action. The source further added that these action scenes will be loved by fans of high-performance sports cars.

Filmed in locations such as England, Russia, Thailand and Abu Dhabi apart from India, Heropanti 2 is a romantic action flick that reunites the duo of Tiger Shroff and Sajid Nadiadwala. Nadiawala also produced Heropanti in 2014, which marked Tiger’s acting debut.

Apart from Tiger, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are also part of the lead cast, with the latter playing the main antagonist of the movie. Written by Rajat Arora and helmed by Ahmed Khan, the movie also has music by A.R. Rahman.

The makers have previously released three songs from the movie, which have received mixed reactions. A trailer for Heropanti 2 was also released back in March, which has over 66 million views on YouTube.

Backed by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the high-octane action entertainer is set to hit theatres on April 29.
